As the Assistant Costume Designer, I was thrilled to be given the opportunity to sink my teeth into something that had such room for creativity as Shakespeare. It was also the first time that I was given say in how certain supporting characters would look, marking the first time some of my designs would be displayed in a main season production. The knowledge and guidance I was given by my Costume Designer allowed me to learn the inner workings of mounting a large-scale show while also gaining firsthand experience in creating the look of a character from start to finish.
